Supply Chain Engineer

The primary focus of this position is to support operations and provide analytical assessments of Material flow-storage types, Master data, Material Master, assessments of logistics processes and initiatives. Customer packaging and shipping requirements into systems and lead process improvements across the logistics and supply chain networks.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of logistics and warehousing strategies that deliver competitive advantages. Optimization of processes and equipment
• Drive projects and process improvements utilizing best project management practices to achieve strategic goals and KPIs
• Develops and implements processes and procedures for the Warehouse.
• Continuous improvement of material handling processes
• Design of finished goods warehouse storage facility for optimum process efficiency
• Prepares Warehouse for physical inventory.
• Support and drive activities around operational excellence through cross-functional, team-based projects
• Specify and acquire capital equipment purchases
• Support product development activities to specify robust packaging requirements for products

Preferred Qualifications

• Preference given to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, or Business Management
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics/warehouse operations is mandatory
• Familiarity with ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) is advantageous
• Preferred certification: MTM UAS or Logistics; Lean Six Sigma knowledge is a plus
• Strong grasp of work measurement analytics including VSM and cycle timing
• Experience in procurement and materials management is beneficial
• Proven track record of leading and collaborating in cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office suite is essential
• Occasional domestic travel of up to 20% may be required
