Founded in 1940, AT&F is a major producer of components for construction cranes, mining equipment, defense projects, structural sections for shipbuilding, power industry related components, and specialty stainless steel fabrications.

The Goals And Challenges Of This Role
Strategic buyer of capacity for subcon
Creating capacity to meet our customers' demand and our strategic goals
Growing capacity to grow revenue
Design and implement AT&F's Supply Chain Management Process
Establish SCM practices
Find and develop key strategic partnerships
Approve and Audit Suppliers
Track and communicate performance
Organize supplier summits
Working with Business Development and Operations
Centralized buying
Lead efforts during Supply Chain breakdowns and critical shortages
Provides reporting and supply chain feedback to the Leadership Team and Business Unit Leaders
Seat at the leadership table
What You Should Bring To This Role
4 years, or more, of experience in Supply Chain development and execution
Planning of procurement, production, inventory control, forecasting, logistics and scheduling.
Experience working with fabrications and machining projects.
Experience with a formal supplier appraisal system.
Monthly travel requirements of a few days per month in the Midwest.
Strong ERP/MRP experience required.
A very high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to effectively present information to executive management, customers, and vendors
Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Business or related field
Detail oriented
Time management skills – fixed deadlines on multiple projects
