Supply Chain Director

As the Supply Chain Director, you will play a crucial role in transforming the site and enhancing material flow and customer delivery. This role also offers a clear progression path, with opportunities to advance into a global multi-site position within the company.

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Director

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline supplier order processing, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Collaborate with site supply chain and operations teams to enhance material flow using lean methodologies to improve on time delivery
• Lead supply and inventory processes in alignment with SIOP and short-term revenue and inventory goals.
• Apply demand planning tools and techniques to increase forecast accuracy and reduce forecast errors.
• Optimize inventory levels throughout the supply chain to balance customer service, production efficiency, and working capital.
• Improve fulfilment processes and management systems to enhance visibility during look-ahead periods and ensure clear-to-build readiness.
• Manage the inbound materials logistics process, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory control.

Requirements of the Supply Chain Director

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in fulfilment, logistics, or operations management, with a successful history of developing and implementing effective fulfilment strategies.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and order management systems.
• Expertise in Lean/Six Sigma, along with experience in supply chain, production planning, and materials management.
