As the Supply Chain Director, you will play a crucial role in transforming the site and enhancing material flow and customer delivery. This role also offers a clear progression path, with opportunities to advance into a global multi-site position within the company.
Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Director
Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline supplier order processing, inventory management, and logistics operations.
Collaborate with site supply chain and operations teams to enhance material flow using lean methodologies to improve on time delivery
Lead supply and inventory processes in alignment with SIOP and short-term revenue and inventory goals.
Apply demand planning tools and techniques to increase forecast accuracy and reduce forecast errors.
Optimize inventory levels throughout the supply chain to balance customer service, production efficiency, and working capital.
Improve fulfilment processes and management systems to enhance visibility during look-ahead periods and ensure clear-to-build readiness.
Manage the inbound materials logistics process, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory control.
Requirements of the Supply Chain Director
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in fulfilment, logistics, or operations management, with a successful history of developing and implementing effective fulfilment strategies.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems and order management systems.
Expertise in Lean/Six Sigma, along with experience in supply chain, production planning, and materials management.
