Supply Chain Director

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Supply Chain Director in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a permanent opportunity located in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is a hybrid opportunity, requiring 3 days of onsite work and 2 days of remote work per week. This person will be responsible for overseeing critical supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory management, vendor selection, and finished goods distribution.

The daily responsibilities include:

• Strategy Development: Creating and implementing strategies to ensure effective processes that align with organizational goals and performance metrics.
• Vendor Negotiation: Engaging with vendors to secure optimal contracts and pricing.
• Data Analytics: Utilizing data monitoring and analytics to evaluate past performance, identify trends, and forecast inventory and distribution needs.
• Efficiency Optimization: Coordinating with suppliers, monitoring production deadlines, confirming shipment details, and resolving distribution delays.
• Productivity Enhancement: Conducting statistical analysis to identify methodologies that increase staff productivity and efficiency.

The requirements of the role include:

• 5+ years of experience as a Supply Chain Director
• Leadership experience - managing a team of at least 2 employees
• Product experience
