The Opportunity:
We're on the hunt for a seasoned, organized leader to build our team’s logistics and operational capabilities from procurement through warehousing and B2B delivery. In this role, you'll be a key player in making us the favorite source of hot sauce for our retailer partners, collaborating closely with teams across the company.
Reporting directly to the COO, you'll lead and scale our dedicated team, ensuring they hit the mark with every shipment and supply chain maneuver. Your knack for making things happen will be pivotal as we ramp up operations to fuel Heatonist's fiery growth at retail.
Who We’re After:
We're seeking a standout candidate with a proven track record in scaling CPG companies in North America. You have hands-on experience managing diverse distribution channels and collaborating effectively with contract manufacturers, freight forwarders, 3PLs, and other supply chain partners. Your familiarity with Shopify, NetSuite, and logistics systems will ensure smooth operations from procurement through to delivery.

Responsibilities:
Lead supply chain functions, including logistics & B2B fulfillment operations, inventory management, supply planning, demand planning, and warehousing
Manage and develop an internal team of 3 direct & 3 indirect reports
Build a detailed understanding of customer order fulfillment processes, requirements, and capabilities, to deliver excellence and make us the supplier of choice
Work with sales and leadership teams to implement and influence best practices, bring consistency across our customer channels, and deliver top tier execution
Identify and pursue opportunities for optimization in fulfillment and logistics operations
Oversee our wholesale distribution team and coordinate with platforms and partners such as Shopify, Flexport, Amazon, Target, Walmart
Identify and pursue opportunities for operational savings while ensuring best-in-class execution and customer service
Along with our COO, direct our 3PL and logistics' partnerships, support business expansion, mitigate risks, source new partners and negotiate contracts
Evaluate the functions of our ERP, NetSuite, identifying solutions and optimizations where applicable, and develop new workflows where needed
Establish reports for Supply Chain performance to track progress against objectives
Travel to various distribution centers and supply chain partners within the US a few times a year
Knowledge, skill, and abilities:
7+ years of experience in supply chain in the consumer products and/or food industry
4+ years of experience in a management position, at a fast-paced, CPG company
Experience running CPG operations including shipping into customers like Target, Kroger, UNFI, Kehe, Publix, HEB, Walmart, Amazon, and smaller independent retailers
Entrepreneurial, with an ability to lead cross-functional execution with minimal guidance
Experience developing and working with a high-performing team
Technical proficiency in operational systems such as Shopify, ERPs (NetSuite preferred), Flexport, ShipStation, InfoPlus, SPS Commerce (EDI), Amazon Seller Central, and WalMart online
Analytical mindset and Excel skills with data-forward approach to problem-solving and communication
Ready to check the ego at the door and perform as part of a passionate, energized team

The anticipated salary range for this position is $155-185k per year, plus a performance-based bonus. The actual annual salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on factors including work experience, relevant discipline knowledge and qualifications, work location, and others.
