Supply Chain Director

Fantastic Opportunity as a Director of Supply Chain & Continuous Improvement. South Texas. Relocation assistance is available. Up to $150K base plus bonuses. This is a key leadership role.

Assess current supply chain costs and develop strategies for adopting new materials, standards, and processes to reduce costs. Assesses current material availability, and delivery systems. Prepares and presents market conditions and merchandise cost reports. Drafts, explains and implements instructions, policies, and procedures for purchasing and contract management. Evaluate and approve conditions for issuing and awarding bids. Resolve grievances with key vendors, contractors, and suppliers. Is the company’s representative in negotiations with all suppliers with the regional supply chain leader. Lead Supply Chain team, coach, and mentor.

Bachelors’ degree required (business concentration preferred).

A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in purchasing or planning experience in a manufacturing or related environment is required. Minimum of seven (7) years experience managing people.
