We are seeking an entry level Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. This is a fulltime, onsite position located at our warehouse in the Interbay neighborhood of Seattle, WA. This is a hands-on coordinator role working in the distribution center growing your skills in all aspects of warehouse and transportation management. Your contributions will lead to process improvements in our North American and international networks, benefitting a Taphandles network that encompasses worldwide shipments to and from our distribution centers and third-party locations.
Responsibilities:
Distribution Center Shipping/Receiving: 65%
Daily coordination with Logistics and Client Service teams
Process daily customer orders using ERP system
Unload shipping containers and stage product for outbound shipping
Daily processing of small package and LTL shipments UPS, FedEx, and TMS systems
Print orders, pull and package products for shipment
Receive all inbound shipments and stock to correct locations
Follow standard work and customer routing guides for outbound shipments
Trace orders and tracking information upon request
Assemble product when required to fulfill outbound orders
Responsible for inventory accuracy and performing materials cycle counts
Review potential stockouts and past due purchase orders, expedite as needed, and communicate timely updates to the production team through daily management.
Manage and resolve issues regarding PO to invoice discrepancies, returns and quality problems with suppliers.
Logistics/Transportation Quoting: 15%
Create quotations for Client Services team for various modes of transportation to guide the customer in purchasing decisions
Ensure proper filing of international shipping forms to comply with Federal import and export governmental regulations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Highschool diploma/GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Physical ability to repeatedly transport objects typically weighing up to 75 lbs.
Able to perform several and/or combination of the following tasks such as to lift, carry, push, pull, sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, twist, reach, grasp and/or work with small objects.
Able to stand and/or walk for considerable (8+ hours) periods.
Good business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a “get it done” mentality
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
