We are searching for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team!
The Supply Chain Coordinator assists the Supply Chain Specialists and Buyer/Planners in a variety of key operational areas. Duties include shipment tracking, inbound processing, SAP data entry, generation of reports and metrics, inventory reconciliation and material/non-material purchasing.
Responsibilities:
Support SC Specialists with inbound shipment tracking and required processing in SAP.
Complete assigned SAP data entry for new products, returns, planning parameters, transfers, etc.
Monitor open orders for designated suppliers and inform Planners of changes impacting inventory or service.
Assist Planners with placement of purchase orders for Finished Goods and/or production planning.
Provide 3PL support for returns, complaints, claims, inbound/receiving and non-conforming products.
Support inventory management activities including reconciliation, destruction, slow moving/expired.
Support purchasing related activities for supplies and other non-inventory related items/materials.
Assist SC Specialist and Planners with the development and generation of reports and metrics.
Perform data collection, analysis, reporting and presentation of findings as assigned by supervisor.
Support process improvement activities and projects related to cost, service, inventory, process.
Maintain system files, databases, reports, process documents, and KPI as required.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Supply Chain/Logistic coordinator or similar role.
Prior experience working with an ERP system is preferred.
Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
Strong computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Knowledge and/or experience of supply chain principles and practices.
Must be detail-oriented and have good problem-solving abilities.
Strong verbal and written skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal & external customers.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
