Working in the Supply Chain team involves close collaboration with Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Accounting departments. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the supply chain team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist and issuing purchase orders from purchase requests.
• Assist and issuing standard purchase orders.
• Follow up with suppliers for delivery confirmations and update internal systems accordingly.
• Check confirmations against purchase orders and upload them into our ERP.
• Assist with date changes for works orders.
• Purchase goods, materials, and services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Establish close working relationships with internal departments and external suppliers
• Manage and monitor overdue orders and shortage reports.
• Implement stringent material control to meet company targets, including usage, scrap, inventory levels, and stock accuracy.
• Ensure all established administrative routines are correctly followed, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Accurately record daily production figures in our ERP.
• Support the production with issuing work orders
• Assist in Quality Control and Product testing
• Support stock rotation and process adjustments for stock through our ERP.
• Perform any other duties in line with the level of the post.
