Supply Chain Analyst, Purchasing Assistant

Job Description

Supply Chain or Global Logistics new grads. Growth position , corporate environment; you will be mentored and trained, and can expect to be fully contributing in 6 months. Most purchasing assistants see promotion after 1 year, with continued career opportunities as this is a large international company.

Starting Pay is $21/hr to $22/hr because we take beginner level supply chain candidates like you; teach you our business model with the expectation that you will move up fast in our company.

Job description: Working on a team to support the purchasing and planning departments by being the point of contact for buyers and vendors. You monitor, analyze, and report on all activities, keeping all parties informed of potential gaps in timing, conditions, or parts and raw materials that the vendors are supposed to be delivering on. You produce daily reports of inventory, do data integrity projects, define and write up problems with proposed solutions (such as meeting compliance guidelines). You use Excel and the ERP system. Daily you will interact with Managers, Site Leads, Buyers, Inventory Planners, IT, Quality and Finance to complete the assigned supply chain tasks.

We are looking for:

• BA in Supply Chain Management, Global Logistics, Business, Economics or similar .
• Close to graduating? 1 year left? Please apply
• 1 year data analysis, customer service or inventory Control Experience
• Internships count towards experience.
• EXCEL - college level or better.
• Willing to learn and flexible to changes in rules and requirements, in this role, you report to everyone. Lets see how you do.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

I am looking for an Education plus a little experience in Purchasing, Cost Savings, ERP systems experience, excellent communication and Excel skills. Willingness to be mentored to grow in this $21/hr to $22/hr role.
