Supply Chain Analyst

Robert Half is working with a global commodities distributor in Mahwah NJ find an experienced Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator to manage a multitude of vendor and customer accounts for domestic and export trade on a monthly basis. The ideal candidate must be flexible, as account management needs can change swiftly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate the best freight rates to maximize profit.
• Manage the Recycling program (CROPS), ensuring all management, scheduling, and follow-up needs are current as the system operates live.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries of recyclable material for both domestic and export markets, along with data entry for follow-up.
• Coordinate with the West Coast office for export bookings.
• Maintain system integrity by keeping purchase orders (POs) and customer orders (COs) current.
• Conduct daily reviews of all open POs and COs to ensure completion.
• Be accountable for profit and loss statements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines; highly organized and able to prioritize workload effectively.
• Self-starter who is confident, proactive, and self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in managing high-volume email communications (Outlook).
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with traders, vendors, customers, and freight carriers.
