Supplier & Co-Manufacturing Quality Manager

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Supplier and Co-Manufacturing Quality Manager to join our dynamic team. As Sr. Supplier and Co-Manufacturing Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance across all ingredient supplier and co-manufacturing partnerships. You will play a crucial role in maintaining product and facility certifications, product quality standards and implementing quality control measures to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all product and facility certifications, including SQF, BRC, Kosher, GF, Non- GMO, and Vegan
  • On board new private label customers
  • Develop and implement a food safety and quality program for all ingredient suppliers.
  • Develop and implement food safety and quality control strategies and programs for all co-manufacturing partners to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain strong relationships with co-manufacturing partners and ingredient suppliers conducting regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support in the development and execution of quality improvement initiatives, including process optimization, data analysis, and corrective action plans.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by implementing best practices and fostering a culture of quality excellence across co-manufacturing partnerships.
  • Lead investigations into quality issues, determining root causes and implementing effective solutions to prevent reoccurrence.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as quality management or food science
  • Minimum of 5-years of experience in quality management within the co-manufacturing or food manufacturing industry
  • In-depth knowledge of quality control principles, tools, and techniques
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards, such as FDA and GFSI
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Experience with Tracegains
  • Ability to travel :60%
