The Health Plan Request (HPR) Supervisor leads a team of Intake Specialists who handle a high volume of requests from Health Plan Requestors. This role involves organizing the HPR team's workload, ensuring deadlines and volume targets are met. The HPR Supervisor is part of a centralized team that coordinates with Health Plan Requestors and Client Operations Teams to manage health plan requests from intake through to release. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and serves as a key contact for both internal and external clients, while also being responsible for training the team and effectively communicating any changes.
Duties & Responsibilities
Facilitate the intake process for audit requests through their entire lifecycle, including client/vendor communication, data entry, fee schedule management, and internal tracking/forecasting, with specific requestor accounts assigned to the Supervisor
Support team on weekly requestor calls addressing inventory roadblocks and progress
Ensure the team processes inventory accurately and provides timely status updates to requestors, including responding to support emails
Assist with monitoring the fee approval requests sent to our general inbox
Collaborate with the Operations and Bench teams to meet due dates and escalate requests as needed to prevent any downtime for the Bench
Maintain professional communication in accordance with established standards and metrics
Assist the manager in identifying areas for improvement, team development needs, and necessary process changes, while also managing site list updates and implementing client-requested process adjustments
Develop expertise in the Health Plan Request field to provide support to field teams as needed
Maintain positive relationships with clients and requestors
Performs other duties, as assigned, to ensure effective operation of the department and the Company

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent, required
Must possess strong logical thinking, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and patience in issue resolution
Ability to multi-task and utilize multiple resources to follow facility protocols
Excellent project management abilities
Capability to work effectively and independently in high-volume, fast-paced environments
Commitment to improving processes for sustainable, robust systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, with a strong focus on Excel
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and clients
