Summary

Overview

Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned crews of equipment operators and construction support for Production flow lines installs, flare, and SPCC operations. Conducts line finding –one calls, ensures the overall well-being of personnel. In addition, Equipment are in safe working condition under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Monitors operator performance and work progress, adherence to company policy and procedures. He does job cost estimates. Confirms operators inspect vehicles and equipment for proper and safe functionality in accordance with company policy and procedure. Oversees operation of safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Understands company construction specifications and/or expectations such as well location nuances, pad/road requirements, Equipment needed for the Job. Determines construction service requirements and plans/adjusts procedures accordingly
  • Lineup work accordantly, based on LEG needs, resources, equipment availability and operator requirements of specific job. Confers with managerial and technical personnel, other departments, and LEG company personnel to resolve problems and coordinate activities.
  • Estimates resources, equipment material and operator requirements to complete jobs in a timely manner. Validates field tickets to facilitate billing process and ensure company documentation is completed accurately. Coordinates construction schedule to control overtime, equipment utilization and completion of construction project according to timeline.
  • Conducts performance based analysis with equipment operators in accordance company policy and procedure. Assist in the evaluation of key vendors. Practices and implements company safety creativities both internally with staff and externally with subcontractors.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises two employees in the Production. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education And/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Intermediate Microsoft Office experience.
