The Supervisor - Audio Visual will be responsible for leading the audio/visual team in planning, setting up, operating, and dismantling audio/visual equipment to deliver high-quality event technology services. This role involves managing team members, collaborating with sales managers, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring client and team satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Supervisory experience in audio, lighting, video, data/telecom, and rigging for live events
Strong understanding of customer service, production knowledge, team leadership, and high-end client relations
Proficiency in audio, video, lighting, data/telecom, and rigging equipment
Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a dynamic environment
Previous hospitality experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
Train and develop technicians
Coordinate production plans with audio/visual sales managers
Identify and address potential challenges proactively
Delegate tasks, schedule breaks, and monitor team performance
Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate equipment repairs
Maintain organized storerooms and track equipment problems
Respond to client requests promptly and ensure client expectations are met
Lead team meetings and propose ideas for greater efficiency
Stay updated on industry advancements and changes
