Job Description
Oversee all on-site construction activities for K-12 projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and school district representatives to ensure project success.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe job site, adhering to OSHA standards and specific regulations for educational environments.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications and building codes.
Develop and maintain project schedules, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate changes and ensure timely project completion.
Facilitate communication between construction teams and school staff to minimize disruptions to school operations.
Address and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and effectively, maintaining a focus on project goals and client satisfaction.
Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with district regulations, school policies, and local building codes.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent in K-12 construction or similar projects.
Extensive knowledge of construction practices, regulations, and standards specific to educational facilities.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead diverse construction teams.
Strong understanding of the specific safety and operational requirements for school construction projects.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
