Do you have an interest in learning more about Leveraged Loans, High-Yield Bonds, and Private Credit? Are you a self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial setting? Are you nimble and open to working with different Credit Analysts on different sectors throughout your summer? Are you a critical thinker who wants to contribute to the credit selection and pitching process?

We’re looking for a Summer Analyst to:

• Assist Credit Analysts with general industry coverage
• Assist Credit Analysts in researching, analyzing, and evaluating non-investment grade Leveraged Loan and High-Yield Bond offerings to present to our Credit Committee
• Assist Credit Analysts with ongoing portfolio monitoring
• Assist with any ad hoc assignments throughout the summer
  
  

Your team
You’ll be working in the Credit Investments Group (“CIG”) in New York. Our team is a business unit of the Asset Management Division, and is an industry-leading manager of :$58Bn in non-investment-grade credit assets across Bank Loan, High-Yield Bond, Private Credit, and Structured Credit portfolios. CIG is one of the largest leveraged-credit managers in the US and Western Europe, with an accomplished full-service group of dedicated career credit professionals located in New York and London. The investment process is predicated on bottom-up credit selection, which has generated favorable risk-adjusted returns with lower relative volatility than the benchmark.

Your expertise

• Junior at a four-year college or university (graduating in December 2025 or May/June 2026)
• Coursework in Finance and/or Accounting and proficiency in Excel are helpful, but not prerequisites
• Critical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills
• Self-starter who achieves significant results
• Enthusiastic and adaptable team member who can build positive relationships
• Articulate communicator who also recognizes the importance of listening
• Principled and committed to the highest standards of ethical behavior
