SGI Global LLC is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Strategic Trade Control Enforcement, with experience with the DoS Export Control and Related Border Security (EXBS) program.
Qualifications
Baccalaureate or higher level degree from an accredited college or university with a major Political Science, International Affairs, Natural Sciences, engineering, management, criminal justice or law.
At least 8 years of experience on the topics of border management, border security, customs operations, customs enforcement/compliance procedures, targeting and risk management, detection and inspection activities, including:
Front-line border enforcement experience as a Border Patrol Agent or a Customs Officer;
Experience conducting investigations, gathering and interpreting evidence, conducting interviews, applying policies, laws and regulations, and writing reports;
Supervisory-level experience managing, advising, and training law enforcement authorities;
Experience coordinating training and capacity building efforts for foreign law enforcement authorities.
At least 5 years' experience as a speaker and instructor at national, regional, and international enforcement fora;
Prior experience with the DoS Export Control and Related Border Security (EXBS) program
