The GridStar® Flow Program is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subcontract Manager to join our Energy Division in Andover, MA. The Subcontract Manager will play a critical role in managing and negotiating subcontracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and mitigating risks. In this position, the candidate will support a major energy storage product development program.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement subcontracting strategies that align with the company's objectives and contractual requirements.
Manage the entire subcontracting process, including solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, and award.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to subcontracting.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with subcontracting activities.
Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Negotiate and modify subcontract terms and conditions as necessary.
Provide regular reports to senior management on subcontracting activities and performance.
Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, engineering, quality, legal, and finance to ensure smooth subcontracting processes.
