We are seeking a skilled Subcontract Administrator to join our team remotely. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting all phases of subcontract administration, including cost proposal review and procurement activities. You will collaborate closely with subcontract personnel, establish work schedules, and provide input on personnel performance evaluations. Ensuring compliance with government policies and procedures will be a key responsibility.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact from proposal through subcontract award, performance, and closeout.
Contribute to risk and cost mitigation strategies in subcontract management.
Assist in sourcing decisions for subcontracted services, balancing best value and cost efficiency.
Manage subcontract agreements with both domestic and international subcontractors.
Prioritize tasks to support proposal submissions, operational execution, and corporate supply chain objectives.
Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and subcontractors.
Prepare and manage subcontract documentation, including agreements, modifications, and task orders.
Develop procurement documentation such as acquisition plans and source selection criteria.
Evaluate proposals and quotations, ensuring compliance and eligibility for award.
Maintain thorough subcontract files and monitor subcontractor deliverables.
Coordinate with accounting and finance for subcontract invoicing, payments, and contract audits.
Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and company policies on contracts and procurement.
Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve issues in coordination with customers.
Track small business goals on assigned subcontracts and participate in related activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field required.
Minimum 3 Years Of Experience In Subcontract Administration.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and integrated software applications.
Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR).
Ability to make informed decisions and conduct price and cost analysis.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US government secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of subcontract administration experience supporting Department of Defense or U.S. Navy programs.
Experience with Costpoint software.
Familiarity with international customer requirements and engagements.
