POSITION TITLE: STUDIO ACCOMPANIST

CLASSIFICATION: PART-TIME STAFF

DEPT: MUSIC

Position Summary

THE SCHOOL OF MUSIC IS SEEKING TO HIRE ONE OR MORE PIANISTS TO ACCOMPANY VOICE LESSONS, TO REHEARSE WITH

UNDERGRADUATE VOICE STUDENTS, AND TO ACCOMPANY STUDIO CLASSES AND OTHER STUDENT PERFORMANCES. ADDITIONAL

TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN THE SCHOOL OF MUSIC MAY BE POSSIBLE BASED ON CANDIDATES’ CREDIENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE.

STRONG SIGHTREADING SKILLS

Experience As An Accompanist For Classical Vocal Repertoire

AN OPENNESS TO CONTEMPORARY AND COMMERCIAL STYLES
