Student Manager - Remote | WFH

About The Role

We are seeking a full-time Student Manager to support the mission, specifically within the Commanders' Professional Development School at the Eaker Center. This position focuses on administration and student management for the Leader Development Course for Squadron Command. The course is designed to provide a world-class, transformational educational experience for officers, enlisted personnel, and civilians selected for squadron command positions.

As a Student Manager, you will manage all aspects of student logistics, including lodging, per diem, and transportation, to ensure a positive learning experience. You will be the primary point of contact for students, instructors, and distinguished visitors. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to creating an exceptional experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities

Class Management: Build classes, allocate quotas, and handle student registration and graduation processes using the registration system and learning management system.

Course Support: Track academic progress and validate program completion. Update systems and SharePoint sites with course changes and student instructions.

Student Interaction: Conduct regular interactions with students regarding course enrollment, welcome procedures, lodging, transportation, and other information.

Logistics Coordination: Manage local student lodging and transportation requirements as needed.

Reporting: Provide monthly statistics covering enrollments, drops, and graduations to the course directors.

Graduation Processing: Process student names for insertion into military and civilian personnel data systems.

Feedback Collection: Gather and summarize student feedback forms.

Weekly Reporting: Provide weekly status reports and attend faculty development meetings and trainings.

Instructor Assistance: Assist instructors and faculty during class execution.

DV Coordination: Coordinate lodging and transportation for distinguished visitors as needed.

Off-Site Activities: Establish contact with off-site venues for activities such as meals and museum visits.

Planning: Attend planning sessions to determine training requirements.

Qualifications

At least two years of professional experience in student management and/or training administration.

U.S. Citizenship.

Experience working with the military or understanding military culture and structure.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe products.

Detail-oriented, motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Availability to work onsite at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, Monday to Friday during core business hours, with occasional remote work as needed.
