Internship Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our team for two exciting positions: Web Developer Intern and Social Media Manager Intern. These unpaid internships offer unique opportunities to gain hands-on experience in web development and social media management, contributing to the enhancement of our online presence and digital tools. Interns will work closely with our team to support various aspects of our operations, including website development, maintenance, and social media strategy execution.

Web Developer Intern Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of our website and web applications.
• Implement new features and functionalities based on user feedback and business requirements.
• Ensure the website is responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create and update website content.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the website’s functionality and performance.
• Assist in the integration of third-party tools and APIs.
• Perform regular website updates and maintenance tasks.

Social Media Manager Intern Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Monitor and engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and engaging content.
• Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices.
• Provide recommendations for improving our social media presence and performance.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Web Development, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• For Web Developer Intern: Basic understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• For Social Media Manager Intern: Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their respective audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus for Social Media Manager Intern.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills (especially French) are a plus
