Structural Engineering
Structural Engineer coordinates and exercises functional authority for engineering of structural aspects of our product line to ensure functionality, quality, cost and schedule by performing the following duties as instructed by the Director of Structural Engineering.
- Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications
- Advises on design changes, specifications, and drawing releases
- Interfaces with others in the organization and customers to jointly determine customer needs and solutions
- Uses computer assisted engineering and design software to perform and develop engineering calculations on specific projects and provide state stamp when applicable
- Reviews product failure data and interprets analyses to establish or rule out material and process causes
- All other duties as assigned

- Bachelor's degree in Civil an Engineering program with a structural emphasis or equivalent.
- 5+ years of Structural design experience
- Engineer in Training preferred
- SolidWorks Certification preferred
- PE License bonus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Work in a collaborative environment, developing solutions as a team
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to interface at all levels
- Organized, focused, and results-oriented with the ability to work on multiple parallel projects
- Will need to come on-site for 50% of the time for the first 2-4 months for training
- Would come on-site a few times a year for meetings and/or events
