Structural Engineer in Training

Join Simplicit Engineering's vibrant team as a Structural Engineer in Training specializing in industrial equipment and support structures. Our dedicated team of Mechanical and Structural designers and engineers tackles exciting projects across the aggregate, mining, concrete, and oil and gas industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural calculations for industrial equipment, support structures, and foundations.
• Collaborate closely with our Engineering team and clients to achieve design objectives.
• Assist in project management tasks such as responding to RFIs, conducting Submittal Reviews, and managing timelines.
• Conduct meticulous drawing reviews to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Occasional travel, up to 5-10%.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of structural engineering experience with proficiency in IBC, ASCE, and AISC design codes.
• Preferred experience with Silos, Aggregate bins, Mixer Structures, Industrial Skids, and Conveyors.
• Minimum 3 years of experience using Risa 3D and Risa Foundation software.
• Proficiency in Tekla, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks is advantageous.
