Strength and Conditioning Coach Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the Assistant Vice President and Director, Athletics and Head Athletic trainer in conjunction for strength training and conditioning programs for teams within the Athletic Department.
- Design and implement strength training and conditioning programs for selected athletic teams
- Develop and oversee the scheduling of programs for team training in order to maximize supervision and participation.
- Develop systems for tracking student-athlete attendance and progress in conjunction with their sport and coaches.
- Educate coaches on the policies and procedures for strength and conditioning programming.
- Provide detailed fitness center/strength and conditioning reports to Assistant Vice President and Director, Athletics biannually.
- Work in conjunction with the Fitness Center Manager to supervise and oversee the daily operations of the Fitness Center
