  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a related field (Business, Legal, Marketing, Finance, Technical).
  • Experience implementing strategic and large scale initiatives in a fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity.
  • Experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of structuring strategic analysis and messaging using spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Ability to work with different team members to design processes and implement strategic projects that solve business problems.

gTech’s Strategy and Operations team (gSO) is made up of strategic partners and trusted advisors that drive success and transformative changes for gTech. We create value through deep functional and business expertise combined with analytical excellence to formulate and deliver strategies. Using core capabilities such as strategy, analytics, and communications, we empower gTech to do amazing things.

As a Strategy and Operations Associate, you will be part of a team providing deep project leadership to solve strategic questions in the gTech organization. You will help develop solutions to complex, ambiguous and high-visibility business problems and opportunities.

In this role, you will work in close partnership with gTech teams and Strategy and Operations colleagues across the regions. You will be working with key partners across gTech to support a mix of strategic and operational projects. You will also support the development of plans and recommendations for global and regional projects.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business, supporting the leadership on key strategic initiatives and building operational excellence. Help chart out and fulfill for the business in line with the leadership’s strategic direction.
  • Problem solve with senior leaders to deliver strategic insights and recommendations based on business analyses to drive projects and initiatives forward.
  • Project manage major strategic initiatives across multiple gTech teams and proactively engage Google-wide stakeholders when needed (e.g., projects that cross-Product, Sales, Marketing, and Policy).
  • Launch and land organizational change management plans for mid- to long-term transformational initiatives.
