Title: Segment Data Office Strategy Analyst

Duration: 3 month + possible extensions

Location: Hybrid 3 days Onsite, Columbus, OH

PR: $40-45/hr

Summary:

As a Segment Data Office Strategy Analyst, you will be instrumental in guiding the Commercial sector of our client through data-driven transformation. Your expertise will help us identify optimal investment opportunities to enhance our data capabilities, enabling efficient delivery, innovation, and growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strategically assess and prioritize investments to evolve the Commercial Data Strategy, enhancing the bank's data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Collaborate with the Chief Data Architecture Office (CDAO) to progress towards our data architecture targets.
• Communicate progress to leadership and influence to gain support
• Design a robust scorecard framework to track strategic progress.
• Work across application owners and SDAs to score each application
• Engage with stakeholders to review results, integrate data strategies with overarching business roadmaps, and resolve backlogs.
• Oversee data improvement projects
• Champion the data strategy across the commercial segment to promote alignment
• Spearhead initiatives to improve data literacy across the Commercial Bank
• Publish a quarterly data newsletter to highlight initiatives and achievements within the Data Office
• Uphold and enhance data quality standards, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Be a trusted partner across the Commercial bank
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years relevant experience including 2+ years of hands-on data experience including data management, data quality, data strategy, and/or data governance
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving mindset
• Business outcome focused

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven mastery on industry data best practices, tools, techniques, and frameworks
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and partnership skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence a senior audience
• Extensive deck-building experience
• Consulting (external and/or internal) experience
• Experience participating in data-related projects or programs
• Understanding of enterprise architectural approaches
• Interpret business needs and translate to many different areas
• Banking experience
