Strategic Sourcing Operations Data Analyst

Fully Remote
The Sourcing Operations Process Data Analyst will help to develop and maintain the reporting infrastructure, data analytics, and data visualization to support Supplier Programs within the Strategic Sourcing team. In this role they will work closely on Responsible Sourcing programs to support reporting needs, competitive insights and benchmarking, while maintaining datasets around carbon reporting and supplier diversity spend reporting. Their efforts will drive transformative and meaningful changes to data management and optimize current processes around data collection.
Responsibilities:
Provide support in the development of the Responsible Sourcing Programs (Supplier Diversity and Supplier Sustainability) & related processes
Ability to collect, compile, combine, and cleanse data sets to optimize datasets and reporting
Manage data cleansing processes required for supplier diversity enrichments and reporting
Develop dashboards to track responsible sourcing targets and performance
Perform manual data entry tasks, develop solutions for data automation, and reporting enhancements
Support with Tier 2 supplier diversity tracking
Conduct industry benchmarking and research on carbon reduction strategies within indirect supply chains
Experience with carbon accounting and carbon reduction strategies
Develop SOPs for Responsible Sourcing related processes and initiatives
Collaborate cross functionally with sourcing team members and business partners
Assist in other projects at the discretion of the manager as needed
Basic Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in data analytics, data management, carbon accounting, supply chain, strategic sourcing, procurement, operations or process documentation
6+ years of experience with Power BI and Excel
3+ years experience in sustainability tools and data management (GHG inventory, supplier carbon emissions)
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent analytical, verbal, presentation and written skills.
Ability to consolidate and manage data to drive meaningful insights.
Robust process documentation experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage & maintain timelines.
Superior ability to multi-task.
Ability to work in a team environment, yet be self-directed, pro-active and action-oriented.
Demonstrated analytical skills and extremely high attention to detail.
Advanced functional experience in computer applications such as Microsoft Suite specifically PowerBI, Powerpoint, and Excel, Sharepoint, and Lucidcharts preferred not required.
