The Strategic Performance Analyst will play a critical role in enhancing our operational effectiveness and driving performance improvements. This individual will collaborate with our internal performance management team and engage directly with customers to understand their growth and improvement objectives. The primary focus will be on identifying actionable insights, trends, and areas of concern. The analyst will work with large datasets, create, and enhance dashboards, and apply advanced analytics techniques. The role also involves automating data processes and supporting cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal performance management teams and customers to understand growth and improvement objectives
Identify and define critical performance metrics
Analyze data sets, identify errors, and enhance dashboards
Apply advanced analytics techniques to extract insights
Develop a notification system based on performance thresholds
Align priorities with cross-functional teams
Document processes for improving key performance metrics
Provide actionable insights to guide performance managers
Optimize time spent on customer-facing activities for performance managers
Create data subsets for performance managers based on quintiles
Prioritize critical focus areas and locations
Summarize tasks in an overview “cockpit” view
Analyze performance metrics and identify triggers/flags
Collaborate with distribution partners to manage performance
Automate data population for meetings and round tables
Host meetings with internal and external teams to drive action for positive results
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Statistics, Data Science)
5 - 7 years of experience within the data analytics field
Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau)
Proficient with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
Experience with database management and data collection systems
Strong analytical skills to interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets
Ability to work independently and drive results
Excellent communication skills to work with management and cross-functional teams
Proven track record of supporting sales and operations teams through data analysis
Detail-oriented with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities
Comfortable working on ad hoc reports and analyses
