Role Overview
As a Strategic Events Manager, you'll spearhead our global trade show strategy, orchestrating every detail from inception to post-event analysis. This role blends strategic planning, creative execution, and meticulous attention to detail, offering an opportunity to shape impactful events that resonate across industries.
Responsibilities
Event Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy aligned with organizational goals, ensuring seamless execution across all phases of trade shows and related events.
Logistics Coordination: Oversee logistics including venue management, booth setup, vendor coordination, and attendee accommodations, ensuring flawless execution.
Promotion and Communication: Drive event promotion through creative campaigns and effective communication strategies, leveraging digital platforms and collateral creation.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize event outcomes, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Budget Management: Manage event budgets, monitor expenses, and reconcile invoices to maximize resource allocation and achieve ROI targets.
Post-Event Analysis: Conduct thorough post-event analysis, generating insights to inform future strategies and enhance event effectiveness.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in event management, preferably in a B2B environment.
Skills: Strong project management, prioritization, and budget management skills. Proficiency in event management software and tools.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strategic Thinking: Analytical mindset with a focus on innovative event strategies and continuous improvement.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to challenges.
Travel: Willingness to travel as required for on-site event management and coordination.
Compensation
Competitive salary range of $100,000 - $155,000 annually, along with equity options, comprehensive benefits, and potential performance-based incentives.
