Job brief: As the Storytelling & Strategic Content Director for TTF (Tim Tebow Foundation), you will play a pivotal role in leading strategic and relevant content, expanding our storytelling network, and strengthening our brand identity. Working closely with the MarCom leadership team, you will partner to address three strategic challenges and develop innovative solutions. This role requires a visionary leader who is a practitioner of strategic content, can inspire and disciple a storytelling team, collaborate effectively across departments, and steward the opportunities for stories of life-change God is making possible. 


Responsibilities:


Message Distribution Strategy: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications and content strategy to define audience, relevancy, messaging, and distribution so that TTF's message may reach a wider audience across a variety of channels and networks. 
  • Work with TTF leadership and outside partners to build and deploy an evergreen PR strategy 
  • Create a strategy around micro-influencers, community advocates, and everyday supporters to help amplify TTF’s message and engage diverse audiences. 
  • Strategically plan and execute targeted campaigns throughout the year, aligning with key events such as testimonies or milestone moments. 


Global Network of Storytelling: 

  • Build and nurture a global network of storytellers, including freelancers, international/regional staff, and volunteers, to ensure a diverse range of voices and perspectives. 
  • Develop scalable processes and resources for collecting, curating, and sharing compelling stories that resonate with our audience. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and Ministry Partners to identify storytelling opportunities aligned with organizational goals and priorities. 
  • Continuously innovate and improve TTF's storytelling capability and quality, leveraging technology and best practices to scale up or down as needed. 


Building Standalone Brand: 

  • Collaborate with TTF leadership to implement a communications strategy that elevates TTF's brand identity. 
  • Develop strategies to create opportunities around introducing various voices and personalities, ensuring the sustainability and longevity of the organization. 
  • Collaborate with the team to communicate the unique value proposition of TTF, positioning it as a trusted and influential entity in its field. 


Main Job Functions: 

  • Stewardship of Storytelling Investment: Manage TTF's investment into storytelling and content creation, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve maximum impact. 
  • Lead the Innovation of Relevant & Impactful Content: As the content and marketing landscape continues to evolve, this role will help define a strategy to systematically and sustainably create relevant and impactful strategic content.
  • Annual Communications Strategy: Work with the team to create, organize, and deploy an annual communications and content strategy aligned with organizational goals and priorities. 
  • Leadership and Discipleship: Lead and disciple TTF's storytelling team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 
  • International MVP Storytelling: Continue to grow and innovate TTF's international storytelling capability and quality alongside Ministry Partners. 
  • Public Relations Opportunities: Manage periodic public relations opportunities, working with the Tebow Group on an ongoing strategy to maximize exposure and impact. 
  • Internal Communication Support: Work with the communications team and TTF's serve team to deploy and arm other departments with updates, stories, and statistics to enhance internal communication and alignment. 


Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field (master's degree preferred). 
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies, preferably in a global or cross-cultural context. 
  • Strong understanding of media relations, storytelling principles, and brand management. 
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and empower others to achieve shared goals. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Commitment to the organization's mission and values, with a passion for storytelling and social impact.
