We are seeking an exceptional Store Manager for our Santa Monica store located at the Brentwood Country Mart. A Dôen store manager operates a profitable and service minded shop through the successful development of a team that can consistently deliver results. Responsible for all aspects of managing a single store including; managing store associates, overseeing store operations to achieve sales, service, customer satisfaction and profitability. All while working closely with the Dôen corporate team to ensure the right assortment is selected and displayed to produce profitability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership
Able to demonstrate shop ownership.
Develops and executes strategies to drive business.
Operates business profitably and minimizes potential for loss.
Effectively implements policies and procedures and manages daily operations to maximize payroll efficiency.
Ensures a positive work environment through recognition and motivation.
Resolves personnel concerns fairly and in a timely fashion.
Supports new initiatives.
Interfaces with all levels of management and associates in a manner that promotes learning and respect.
Fairly delegates responsibilities to the sales staff.
Customer Service
Demonstrate extraordinary service, lead by example on the sales floor.
Provide the highest level of personalized client experience to our loyal and growing customer base.
Manage the client book and effectively train the team in building and maintaining client relationships.
Provide styling advice based on brand aesthetic and excellent firsthand product knowledge.
Be able to drive business through reacting to customers’ needs and wants.
Always acts in the best interest of the customer.
Abide and enforce company policies to maintain a safe environment for customers and team.
General
Arrives on time and is floor ready with a professional presence in line with the Dôen brand.
Maintains a visually enticing store that is neat, clean, and organized.
Responds promptly to internal and external communication.
Works in partnership with corporate to manage and execute weekly reorders/transfers and inventory management.
Ability and understanding of receiving and processing merchandise/inventory management.
Process sales and returns through the pos systems with accuracy and efficiency.
Supports with all operational duties ie. Managing cleaning, supply levels, etc.
Performs daily operations and closing procedures including daily paperwork and reconciliation.
