Key Accountabilities:


  • Results Focus: Align with regional leadership and independently develop clear goals and plans for team members with a focus on responsive and action-oriented progress. Lead store teams in meeting and exceeding store(s) targets with an emphasis on upward store sales trajectories. Ensure service metrics are met and assure improvement in driving customer satisfaction and on time delivery experience.
  • Customer Focus: Actively lead, support, and foster employee ownership for delivering excellent customer service. Actively lead through example problem resolution ownership, building customer brand loyalty and delivery of exceeding customer expectations.
  • Controllables: Ensure alignment with inventory control, labor expense, supply purchasing, procurements, and other controllable expenses.
  • Leadership: Develop, guide and influence the execution of operational plans to improve site profitability and efficiencies. Identify opportunities to utilize training and development resources to address employee development in existing operations with new employees or areas of concern. Employ a hands-on safety-felt, sales operational leadership style that seeks to build, develop, empower to accountability others to facilitate professional and financial growth. Attract, hire, train, develop and retain qualified, engaged team members with a strong willingness to grow and succeed.
  • Safety: Establish a safe and secure store environment ensuring safe operation and maintenance of tools, PPE, and equipment. Guide, train, and reinforce safety protocols while taking a leading indicator approach to improvement in the store(s) and service areas.


Essential Operations:

  • Ensure store operation and adherence to coaching sales team members through structured interactions holding team accountable to standards of excellence including personal sales to meet or exceed Sales & Service Metrics, sales, and margin goals.
  • Guide the service and parts teams and alignment with the warranty process in adherence to high productivity standards and excellent customer experience.
  • Lead store receiving, stocking and pricing product inventory and initiate timely and efficient product replacement.
  • Actively engage with the business community as well as social media to establish relationships that accelerate store revenue growth.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required, associate or bachelor’s degree in leadership or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct retail store sales and operations experience; preferably in truck upfitting or trailers.
  • Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience in building higher performing teams.
  • Ability to recruit, train and motivate top tier employees with a track record of success.
  • Experience in project management with the ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively prioritize and delegate.
  • Proven ability to identify market opportunities and capitalize upon them.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communications skills
  • Expertise in problem assessment and developing solutions, with ability to measure and iterate on results.
