Small Cheval, a part of Hogsalt, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to join our team!

  • Salary negotiable.
  • $1,000 sign on bonus upon completion of training
  • Quarterly bonus structure

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in quick-service or full- service restaurants
  • Prep and cooking experience preferred
  • Front of house/ service experience
  • Open availability including weekends and holidays
  • Professional and confident verbal and written communication with guests, employees and ownership

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ownership of placing product orders, invoicing procedures & maintaining store COGs and budget
  • Maintaining time card edits, tip management system, assisting with scheduling & maintaining store labor budget
  • Managing daily financials via POS platform (comps, re-opening checks, closing checks, refunds)
  • Owning all guest relations including hospitality, guest troubleshooting, responding to guest emails
  • Participating in employee relations including training , development, employee reviews, and progressive discipline for FOH and BOH
  • Ability to step in and execute the duty of any station including cashier, ice cream, griddle, fry, mid, and expo
  • Troubleshooting kitchen equipment
  • Ensuring store is opened or closed following Small Cheval procedures
  • Collaborating alongside store leadership team and Small Cheval Director Team to execute new initiatives and maintain a harmonious work environment
