Helper needed to join a rapidly growing steel manufacturing company. Job responsibilities include prepping for welding various other duties related to steel manufacturing. Minimum 1 yrs experience working in a steel shop This is a permanent position offering 40 hrs per week with occasional overtime.
A qualified candidate must be able to perform the following functions:
Be capable of following instructions with little to no supervision and provide high quality work.
Examination of work pieces for defects.
A qualified candidate must be proficient with the following:
Measurements
Basic math skills
Reading tape measure
Verbal and written instructions in English
A qualified candidate must:
Be able to work under pressure and on a deadline
Follow safety guidelines
Be able to work as part of a team
Have personal tools typical to steel fabrication (excluding power tools)
Be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
Compensation:
$19-22 per hour DOE with room for growth
Holiday pay after 90 days
Boot reimbursement annually
