We’re looking for a highly skilled and visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead our technology strategy and oversee the development of our platform. The CTO will play a critical role in shaping the future of Homways by driving the technical vision, architecture, and execution of our product. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced startup at the pre-seed stage and make a significant impact on our growth and success. This role requires a hands-on full-stack developer who can transition into a leadership position as the company grows. Initially, the CTO will focus on product development and later oversee the technology team.
✨Your Role
- Product Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of the Homways MVP, including both website and mobile application, ensuring a high-quality, scalable, and secure product.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Founder and CEO to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver a product that meets user needs.
- Technical Strategy: Develop and implement the overall technical strategy and roadmap to support Homways’ business objectives and growth plans.
- Architecture and Design: Define the technical architecture and design principles to ensure robust and maintainable systems.
- User Feedback Integration: Continuously improve the product by integrating user feedback and ensuring the platform meets market demands.
- Team Leadership: As Homways grows, build and manage a high-performing engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce best practices for software development, testing, and deployment to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements into the product development process.
🙌 What We Value
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to fill this role. The ideal candidate should possess:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience (5+ years) in full-stack software development.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and launching MVPs.
- Experience in managing or leading a tech team is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Django).
- Knowledge of database design and management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in mobile application development (e.g., React Native, Swift, Kotlin) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for innovation and staying updated with the latest technology trends.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.

🔝Reporting Structure
This position will report directly to the Founder and CEO of Homways.
💰Pay Range
This position will initially be compensated with a generous equity percentage in Homways until we raise our seed round to offer a competitive salary. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to become a key part of Homways’ leadership team and share in the future success of the company. The estimated salary band for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 a year.
