We are looking for a Staffing Coordinator to join our HR management team in Union, NJ. The staffing coordinator will perform various clerical and administrative tasks to support our employees on a daily basis. To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate a high level of judgement, follow up and follow through skills. In addition, you should enjoy working and collaborating with employees from different teams, so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a small business setting and can work independently.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM (40hr work week)
Pay: $15-17/hr paid on a weekly basis
Job Duties:
Organize and maintain employee records
Enter, track and manage new hires into applicant tracking system to ensure completion of onboarding tasks
Send and track Eskill assessments
Send requests for background and drug screens to new hires
Ensure new hire files are complete (verification through Kentech and Labcorp)
Perform e-verifications (through E-verify)
Verify and complete wage and unemployment requests
Perform exit interviews
Perform quality control and assurance calls (existing employees)
Retrieve employee data as requested
Perform other duties as required
Ability to terminate employees where applicable
Post job orders and coordinate hire activities with clients
Required Skills
Must have exceptional computer skills (e.g. MS Word, Excel and Email)
Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure
Must have great writing skills and be proactive
Must have exceptional follow up and documenting skills
Must be dependable and reliable
Exceptional follow up and follow through skills
Experience working in a VMS setting
Education
High School Diploma, College Degree preferred
