We are looking for a driven Staff-level Product Manager who learns fast, who is humble and values teamwork; who is hungry and believes they can make our customers’ world a better place. The ideal candidate will be technical, data driven, creative, business savvy and love building elegant user experiences. They will be growth oriented and able to strive for product-market fit with their teams.

What You Will Be Doing

The Trade Desk is a rapidly growing company, as our CEO often says: "we're only 2% done." We are facing the biggest paradigm shift in advertising in the last century as the industry moves towards data-driven, results-oriented advertising.

Our consumer identity products like UID2 and OpenPass focus on building technologies that are foundational to a thriving open internet.

As a Product Manager for Consumer Identity at the Trade Desk, your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining the product strategy and features for the next generation of consumer identity user experience.
  • Help design and develop technologies that improve access to content on the open internet.
  • Integrate user studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance the end consumer experience.

Our team's responsibility is to build new products that help consumers understand the value proposition of the internet and provide them with clear and transparent privacy controls.

What You Bring To The Table

  • You have built complex products that take years of iterations to become great.
  • You can easily find answers in data, and quickly iterate on the product.
  • Experience building consumer facing products.
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills both in large and small groups.
  • A sustained track record of making significant, self-directed, and end-to-end contributions to large and impactful software projects.
  • Ability to solve complex, technical problems with creative solutions while managing tradeoffs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with distributed teams.
  • Experience working with consumer identity and security.
  • Background in software development, UX, engineering, or data science.

NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only: In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is$136,300—$249,900 USD
