Your Role
As a Staff Appraiser, you'll be responsible for conducting Desktop and Field appraisal assignments, ensuring they meet client requirements and quality standards. You'll also handle quality control reviews and address any escalations effectively and independently. Key Responsibilities
Prepare Desktop and Field appraisal reports in accordance with client specifications
Conduct quality control reviews on various valuation reports, including complex cases
Collaborate with field appraisers and lender clients to resolve escalations promptly
Maintain a thorough understanding of industry regulations and company policies
Uphold our commitment to delivering high-quality appraisal products
Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring timely updates and professional conduct during site visits
Undertake additional tasks as assigned
Who You Are
Licensed/Certified Appraiser with a strong work ethic
Proficient in Microsoft software and computer skills
Able to work autonomously while adhering to established guidelines
Committed to continuous improvement and innovation in the field of appraisal
Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
Qualifications
Appraiser License and/or Appraisal Certification
High School Diploma/GED required; College Degree preferred
Previous experience in valuing diverse property types
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
Prior experience with major lenders or AMCs preferred
Advanced designations are a plus
