Director of Recruiting @ Vaco | Driving Results through Innovative Recruiting
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepares bank deposits, and general ledger postings and statements.
Reconciles accounts accurately and timely.
Enters daily data of financial transactions.
Researches and resolves accounting discrepancies and provides assistance to department and company personnel.
Performs month end close processes including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
Maintains W-9's.
Processes internal accounting information, using accounting systems.
Provide support to employees in the organization for expense reports, purchase order requests, check requests, etc.
Performs all duties with a high level of attention to detail, and in a confidential and ethical manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelors' Degree preferred.
Minimum two years' experience in an accounting support function role. (Manufacturing experience preferred).
General understanding of GAAP.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Infor Syteline is a plus.
Demonstrated excellence in communication skills in working with vendors, customers, and employees at all organizational levels.
Demonstrated ability to build and develop positive working relationships.
Must have a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Must be able to work in a self-directed manner, in a team environment.
Must be able to maintain highly confidential information, and work in an ethical manner.
