We are a rapidly growing startup seeking a talented Staff Accountant / Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategies and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.


🎯 Role Overview:


As a Staff Accountant / Financial Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting both financial analysis and accounting functions within our organization. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and general accounting tasks.


💼 Responsibilities Include:


  • Assisting in financial analysis activities, such as preparing financial models, conducting variance analysis, and generating reports to support decision-making.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close processes by reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and analyzing financial data.
  • Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling payments, and managing vendor/customer relationships.
  • Participating in budgeting and forecasting processes, contributing insights to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve financial controls, and drive operational excellence.


🎓 Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency level skill with NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, Avalara, Tableau, Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP reporting standards; financial statement consolidation experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
