ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of day-to-day transactions such as accounts payable, expense reports, accounts receivable, job costing, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and others.
Prepare schedules and reports to support cash management, budgets, and accounts reconciliations and analysis.
Maintains and updates supporting documentation such as fixed assets schedules.
Assists with all aspects of accounting and the preparation of financial statements in accordance with generally accepting accounting principles (GAAP) in a multi-company environment.
Reviews financial data for accuracy; identifies problems and supports day-to-day operations.
Ability to research and reconcile discrepancies and verify documents in accordance with accounting procedures and policies.
Ad hoc and special projects as required.
Other support as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related business field
3+ years of experience in accounting
Working experience with accounting systems is required.
Proficiency in MS Excel
High attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a team group environment.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain information confidentiality and handle with discretion.
