How You Will Contribute:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for working collaboratively across all departments of the company to ensure the timely and accurate issuance of all financial reporting.
Responsibilities Include:
Financial Reporting – Delivers accurate and timely financial statements and supporting schedules on a monthly basis.
Daily and Monthly Duties – Performs necessary month-end journal entries and reconciliations to prepare the Companies’ GLs for month-end close. Performs analysis and delivers results to regional leadership teams.
Annual and Quarterly Duties – Works with management to complete the Companies’ recurring annual and quarterly projects.

What You Can Offer:
Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting strongly preferred.
Specialized knowledge
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, to various audiences.
Ability to creatively solve problems and work under time constraints with minimal supervision.
Ability to work with team members to produce quality work within tight timeframes while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Exceptional organizational abilities and strong attention to detail.
Experience
Minimum of two years of progressive, relevant accounting experience required.
Experience in construction accounting is strongly desired.
