With a new ERP recently implemented, we're looking for skilled specialists to bolster our Accounting Department. If you're interested in getting involved in everything from standard accounting to international trade to government contracting to domestic manufacturing, this is the place for you.
Job Responsibilities
Contributing to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
Prepare monthly journal entries, analyses and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliations across all accounts
Validate State Sales Tax payments against ERP system
Enter customer payments and validate merchant credit card accounts
Assist with audits and budgeting processes and reconciling various accounts
Monitor customer accounts and manage collection efforts
Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization
Billing on government contracts using the WAWF/PIEE vendor portal
Required Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years in an accounting/bookkeeping role
Excellent skills in Excel and relevant MS Office tools
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to multi-task and deal with changing requirements
Attention to detail and accurate, timely and diligent performance of all duties
Ability to work flexibly across all required accounting
Bachelors degree required (Accounting or Business)
