Job Summary

We seek a friendly and customer service-oriented individual to join our team.

As a Staff Accountant at our Arlo Chicago location, in this role, you will be performing functions of income Audit, which includes reconciling transaction source totals with General Ledger and Revenue Reports, verifying the required authorization and proper documentation of transactions, and explaining any variances of these reconciliations. You will be preparing occupancy and sales tax process house charges. Other duties will include distributing and organizing hotel reports and records consistently, accurately, and promptly, supervising performance, and assisting in the functions of Accounts Payable, cashiering, and Accounts Receivable. Assisting Assistant and Director of Finance in internal daily audits of cash deposits and transfers. Training recommends performance evaluation, resolving problems, providing open communication, and recommending discipline when appropriate. The Staff Accountant will support the Hotel's accounting process in a timely, accurate manner by accounting policies and procedures. Understanding accounts payable & accounts receivable will be important.

The ideal candidate will have strong tie management skills, will be comfortable with computers & accounting systems, and comfortable collaborating with hotel leaders to meet established deadlines.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required

1 Year Experience Required

Previous Hotel Experience

Knowledge of Birhstreet
