Our team is seeking a sharp Staff Accountant for a client located in Elk Grove Village. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.
Responsibilities
Works closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity
Fixed Asset Accounting
Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
Contract and invoice reviews
Capital expenditure reporting
Project accounting
Special projects as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting
0 - 2 years' experience in accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
