We're supporting the U.S. federal government partner, Client Board (System) (FRB) in Washington, DC!! Our client FRB is sponsoring and providing a new Public Trust Clearance in this role. They're seeking a Workday Financial Analyst with a completed bachelor's degree and 7+ years' experience organizing financial ledger data in Workday HCM, along with strong familiarity and adherence to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).

We're seeking expert SOX knowledge on resume (must identify SOX on resume).

The Workday Financial Analyst must explain SOX compliance, which is the act of adhering to U.S. Congress law of ethical financial reporting, information security and auditing requirements which aims to prevent corporate fraud.

Congress passed this law (SOX) to increase accountability in the financial sector. The law helps ensure public companies engage in non-deceptive business accounting practices.

Our client FRB is currently migrating legacy PeopleSoft data into cloud based Workday HCM system. FRB understands there are bi-annual Workday HCM releases each year, and they're approaching the next release of Workday on September 16, 2024. We're seeking a Workday Financial Analyst with a strong financial background using MS Excel spreadsheets and transferring organized monetary data into Workday cloud based HCM/ERP system. Additionally, you would support FRB's HR Dept. to help manage the compliancy of FRB data to adhere with SOX regulations involving Payroll Dept. data. We're seeking an Analyst that is confident in using Gantt Charts within MS Project software. This is a two-month contract (w/ possible) extension, starting April 8, 2024!! Our client requires the weekly hybrid schedule of one day on-site in their DC office, and four days remote.

The two-step interview process (on two separate days) begins with a regular phone call from FRB's HR Dept., then you would perform a final MS Teams video interview with FRB's Chief Information Officer (CIO) and two Project Managers. An offer letter is anticipated by March 25 to start the remote position on April 8, 2024.

The max C2C rate is $62/hour (NON-NEGOTIABLE).

Job Description

The People, Strategy and Operations (PSO) section of the Division of Management seeks the services of a Contractor to serve as an Information Systems Specialist as part of the Benefits team providing support for updating benefits legacy data in Workday.

The Contractor Shall

Follow Board PSO (HR) and IT confidentiality and standards as directed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, coupled with

degree or experience in a Human Resources field of study.

Workday Experience Required.

Proficient-level Microsoft Office Suite experience.

Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations including SOX

Strong analytical, research and conceptual-thinking skills to visualize solutions to a wide

variety of HR needs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and escalate when appropriate.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

The Contractor shall deliver, but not limited to, the following:

Maintain accuracy and integrity of data.

Actions on data discrepancies and reports anomalies appropriately

Performs user acceptance testing of system changes and fixes.

Performs routine reporting and responds to ad hoc data requests.

Prepares reports in support of HR system work streams and operations.
