SR. TECHNICIAN - TECHNICIAN - Electronics

Who We Are

We are the Fuels and Lubricants Division! We are a diverse team tasked with providing high quality instrumentation support for one of the largest independent fuels and lubes testing facilities in the world. By joining our team, you will receive $500.00 in your first paycheck (minus applicable taxes).

Role

Objectives of this Role:

  • Our objective is to provide the most accurate data to our clients through careful maintenance and calibrations of our machines and systems.
  • Through on-the-job training, you will learn to make repairs/improvements to existing instrumentation systems and processes.
  • Perform all duties while complying with all quality and safety standards.
  • Some tasks will require working solo, while others will be with fellow team members.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Follow procedures and written and verbal instructions.
  • Must follow and adhere to safety requirements.
  • Communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and project leaders.
  • Perform routine and unique calibrations and repairs while maintaining excellent quality records.
  • Utilize troubleshooting skills.
  • Learn fabrication techniques from the talented craft technicians on our team.

Requirements:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Advanced education, such as an Associates degree or continuing education courses related to Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or directly related may be considered in lieu of some work experience.
  • 2-10 years: Experience in Instrumentation or related field, including experience in troubleshooting, calibrations, and use of hand tools.
  • 1-5 years: Experience using computer software including Microsoft Office Applications e.g., Excel and MS Word.
  • 1-5 years: Must be able to interpret schematics, electronic diagrams, manuals as well as written and spoken instructions.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
